The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences (ADFS) is one of the premier forensic science agencies in the country and is the only accredited forensic science laboratory system in the state of Alabama.
ADFS is committed to our mission - the application of science and medicine to the purposes of Justice, all while focusing on our four core values: service, integrity, respect and quality.
The ADFS Internship Program provides college or university students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in their field of study. Undergraduate or Graduate students studying in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Chemistry, Biology or other Forensic Science related fields
may apply for an internship with ADFS. Acceptance into the program depends on the availability of positions, the student's qualifications and the necessary resources.
