The Huntsville Regional Laboratory provides forensic services to the following counties in Alabama.

Drug Chemistry - Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan and Winston

Forensic Biology - Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan and Winston

** Firearm and Tool Mark evidence is accepted from Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan and Winston. Examinations are conducted at other ADFS laboratories.

The Huntsville Regional Lab will only accept evidence for Drug Chemistry, Forensic Biology and Firearm and Tool Mark. For Fire Debris and Toxicology evidence, please submit the evidence to the Birmingham Laboratory.
