The Huntsville Medical Facility, located on the first floor of the Huntsville Laboratory, services 22 counties in Alabama. These counties include Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Jackson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, St. Clair, Walker and Winston. The expertly skilled staff consists of two Forensic Pathologists, Forensic Pathology Specialists, and highly capable support personnel.

The Huntsville Medical Facility does not accept evidence in this facility except evidence submitted along with a decedent. For Fire Debris and Toxicology evidence, please submit the evidence to the Birmingham Laboratory. For Forensic Biology, Drug Chemistry, and Firearm and Tool Mark, please submit the evidence to the Huntsville Regional Lab.
