Serology involves analyzing items of evidence for the presence of biological fluids; and may include the visual examination of items, the use of catalytic chemical tests, as well as microscopic analyses.

DNA Analysis

Forensic DNA analysis involves the DNA profiling of biological evidence from a criminal case. Each of our casework laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art robotic technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of the DNA analyses performed.

Any DNA profile obtained from an item of evidence is compared to individuals involved in the particular case. A DNA profile obtained from crime scene evidence may also be searched against the DNA database in an attempt to identify a putative perpetrator.
